To purchase any painting or photo, just drop us an email with the details of the work you want and your phone number. We will call you back to get your selection and payment information. Payment options include: PayPal, Chase Bank's direct transfer service (you do not to be a Chase account holder), VISA Master Card or American Express. We do not keep payment information after the sale so that you need not worry about the information being stolen or otherwise compromised.
Portrait Commissions:
The price for a single subject portrait (16x20) in oil is $895. Single person portraits are on canvas or museum quality board and consist primarily of the face, neck and shoulders. Most of the portraits on display here are 16x20. The exceptions are the painting of baby Sarah in the field of bluebonnets (36x48) and the painting of the Jaramillo brothers (24x30). The face is painted to life size (give or take) or larger. To allow the focus to be on the person rather than their accouterments, clothing or other items are usually not finely detailed. Larger sizes, more subjects, surroundings etc. involve additional time and therefore cost more. How much more depends on the amount of extra time involved. SHIPPING: Shipment of paintings usually occurs the next business day unless the work is committed to an art show. Photographs usually ship in 2-3 business days. Shipping can be by US Postal Service, UPS or Federal Express. We do not charge more than the actual costs incurred in shipping the item to you. NOTE: Packaging for paintings on stretched canvas needs more than a thin cardboard box to protect the artwork.
In case you were wondering, my wife and I are Christians. We strive to live our lives in accordance with the teachings of Christ including honesty, humility, the desire to do the right thing, and to treat others as well as or better than we treat ourselves. It's not always easy living according to these standards, but we do our best to live our lives and run our business by judging our actions in accordance with the example set by Jesus.
